This month's show is in honor of my pioneer ancestors who hold a family reunion each year in the Nebraska Sandhills. These hardy folks settled the homestead in the 1880's and lived in a sod house "dugout" prior to building a frame house near the Loup River in Custer county. I wish I could join the family as they gather on the farm this weekend, and I send this show out to celebrate family, farming and plowing, gatherings, barbeques, rivers, and history.
